My Coaching Philosophy
"No one is a complete failure.
They can always be used as a bad example."

This quote hung on my mother's home office wall. As a child, I would often reflect on what the quote meant as I headed out the door to school. Was there an intention to shame me so that I might be perfect at all times? Or, was there a lesson to be learned from the failed attempt? Life presents unique circumstances that are beyond our control. When this happens, the body responds by self-preserving and our only goal becomes surviving the change and chaos. I believe the bad example is in how we respond to the circumstance. Do I embrace my failings and gain wisdom from the experience? Or, do I continue down a path where my reactive behaviors cause me to fail every time?
